Taj Mahal at Sun Rising

Here’s the latest video by AR Rahman dedicated to the Taj Mahal. Why? Because viewers are expected to be overwhelmed after seeing the video and should rush off to wikipedia or where-ever to VOTE for the Taj!!! Can you believe it? Now, I have to VOTE to ensure that Taj is recognized as a Wonder of the world! And if I dont? Taj will be knocked off the list?!!!?

My answer to all those behind this voting scheme- “Are you out of your F&#King mind?”. The Taj Mahal is a wonder of the world, just like the Pyramid of Giza, like the Hanging gardens of Babylon. And no single person or organization can sit around fine tune the list of wonders by knocking items off the list. If the modern engineering and archeology has given us more to be proud of, then add to the list. Do NOT replace items on the list. Who says that the list should always be SEVEN? Why seven?

And now, you are telling me that if enough morons do not VOTE for this, my Taj Mahal would cease to be a wonder? VOTE? A mechanism that has proven time and again to be the most defective model to take a right decision? We know by years of political chaos in India that Voting cannot be depended on to reach the right decision. Then why VOTE for Taj?
